Summer program
Our 2024 summer program will run Wednesday, June 5 - Wednesday, August 14. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Please note that the start and end dates may change as the school district addresses snow make-up days.
The summer program features weekly themes, trips to the swimming pool, weekly out of town field trips, plus lots of enrichment activities to keep your children engaged this summer. Check out some of the exciting new offerings below.
Sports camp Weeks
June 10-14 (Baseball & Softball)
June 17-21 (Basketball)
LINK is partnering with Grinnell Sports Camps to help bring the joy, recreation, and skill growth to our children and youth ages 6-12. Parents can sign their children up to attend LINK in the morning starting at 7:30am. Transportation will be provided after lunch to Grinnell College for a couple of hours with specialized coaches and mentors for sports camp and water time. Parents can pick up kids at the College pool by 4:15pm each day or kids will be transported back to Davis Elementary school to be picked up at LINK after 4:30pm. The cost per week is $175 regardless of attendance.

Cooking Week
June 24-28
LINK is offering a special week of cooking for youth going into 4th grade and older. All week, youth will be in the kitchen learning how to cook main courses, pastas and sauces, breads, desserts, and more. They definitely will NOT leave hungry! Space is limited, and sign-up is a first come, first serve. The cost per week is $145 regardless of attendance.
videography week
July 15-19
LINK is offering a special week of videography for youth going into 5th grade and older. All week, youth will be working with the LINK studio--learning how to record and edit video and creating their own video packages. They'll be ready for YouTube in no time! Space is limited, and sign-up is a first come, first serve. The cost per week is $145 regardless of attendance.
